Joined APD in 1999. Became a Principal in 2012.
Mr. Kambar has been with APD from the beginning. His years of project engineering, drafting, management, and supervision have concentrated on retail companies and municipalities. His strength lies in coordination with clients, developers, municipalities, agencies, contractors, utility companies, and co-workers. This coordination has led him to attend many permit approval meetings where he has created and utilized site renderings and other presentation graphics to help obtain approvals for our clients.
His day-to-day work includes site plan development, demolition, grading and drainage design, utility, landscaping, lighting, details, and specification plans. Mr. Kambar is also well-versed in providing post-construction stormwater management plans, stormwater pollution prevention plans, hydraulic flow reports, and environmental assessments and has worked on DEIS and FEIS documents. Municipal and agency approvals and permits he has procured for site plans include: subdivision; variance; Corp of Engineers and NYSDEC wetland mitigation; NYSDEC (SPDES, SEQR, and Floodplain Management); PADEP water quality and quantity control; Local and State Health Dept. backflow prevention and water main dedication; NYSDOT and PADOT highway work permits; County highway work permits, sanitary connections and erosion, and sediment control mitigation; utility connections and extensions; and other project-specific approvals.
In addition to overseeing most of the firm’s Civil work, Mr. Kambar also leads the firm’s MEP Team. Mr. Kambar has developed close working relationships with many clients, including ALDI Inc., Monro Inc., Hospitality Restaurant Group (Taco Bell), Walmart (Sam’s Club), Lowe’s, Dollar General, and Hunt Hollow Ski Club. Holding his NCEES, Mr. Kambar is licensed in multiple states.
Mr. Kambar’s spare time includes staying active with sports such as boating, camping, hiking, fishing, golf, road cycling, and ultimate frisbee.
