A Geotechnical Soils Report that indicated poor soil conditions led to a change in the typical foundation design.
An atypical space for ALDI provided some unique challenges to fit the standard prototype.
APD provides Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, MEP Engineering and Surveying to our restaurant clients.
APD is the Prototype Architect for several National prototype programs and works with dozens of other clients providing prototype design services.

APD’s Survey Team uses Drone Technology for 2D and 3D work.

Ringing in 2019, Mr. Hochadel is APD’s latest Member! With APD since 2012, Mr. Hochadel is excited to be entering this next phase of his career.
In 2018 the theme was Let’s Play! The competition was stiff and the 30,000+ cans that were used to build the sculptures were ultimately donated to Foodlink.
2018 saw APD place 10th on the list of Rochester’s Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies.
A chance airplane conversation led to a long-term partnership between Aldi, Inc. and APD, end eventually to this article that was in the Rochester Business Journal.
Ontario County Habitat for Humanity is a fully autonomous, non-profit, tax-exempt organization which is responsible for its own fundraising.
In 2017, APD entered Rochester’s Top 100 and placed 28th on the list of Rochester’s Fastest Growing Companies.
In an effort to give back, and have a lot of fun, APD entered a team into the 2017 Canstruction® event help in Rochester, New York.
With 2016 being a year of growth for APD, they submitted for the first time to the Rochester’s Top 100 Fastest Growing Firms. Much to their surprise, they achieved 26th on the list of fastest growing firms in Rochester.
2016 was a banner year for APD and saw the culmination of 20 years in business.
2015 was a growth year for APD, in part due to their relationship with Aldi, Inc. 2016 was also APD’s 20th anniversary in which they saw new leadership take the helm.
