Supporting Growth, Site by Site with Heartland Dental

October 1, 2026

Heartland Dental’s continued growth is expanding access to quality dental care in communities across the country. In 2026, the organization has collaborated to open 51 new dental practices as of October, with a goal of reaching 68 by year-end. Its expanding network now includes more than 1,900 supported offices nationwide, reflecting an ongoing commitment to bringing quality dental care closer to the communities it serves.

Supporting growth at this scale calls for a thoughtful approach to multi-site development. Each new location brings together Heartland Dental’s established operational standards and patient experience with the unique characteristics of its site, local requirements, and surrounding community.

For architecture and engineering teams, this means creating consistency across locations while incorporating the flexibility needed for each project. From site planning and permitting to building systems and equipment coordination, every element plays an important role in delivering facilities that support efficient operations, clinical teams, and a welcoming patient experience.

A RECENT ADDITION IN VENICE, FLORIDA

One example is a Heartland Dental-supported practice that was recently completed in Venice, Florida. The project brings this approach to life through a finished space designed to support the clinical needs of the dental team while providing a comfortable, welcoming environment for patients.

From its exterior presence to its interior treatment spaces, the completed office reflects the value of thoughtful coordination in multi-site development. The result is a facility that aligns with Heartland Dental’s established brand standards while responding to the specific needs of its location.

As Heartland Dental continues to expand its footprint, including ongoing de novo development in Florida and other growing markets, each new practice represents another opportunity to strengthen access to dental care and serve communities nationwide.

For growing multi-site organizations, successful expansion is built on a strong, repeatable process that brings together consistency, adaptability, and thoughtful execution. It’s an approach that supports each location’s individual needs while maintaining the quality and experience customers have come to expect.
