National Prototype Architect for ALDI, Inc.

APD has enjoyed a long relationship with ALDI that dates back to the founding of our firm in 1996. This relationship has steadily grown from initially providing site design and permitting on single sites, to today where APD is ALDI’s National Prototype Architect and Prototype Civil Engineer. APD’s emphasis of providing senior-level professionals, at cost-effective rates, has resulted in over 1,000 successful projects with ALDI at locations all across the United States.

Starting in 2003, our architectural staff greatly expanded the civil engineering services provided to ALDI by offering full building services including architecture, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering. Pleased with our customer service and reasonable fees, APD was named ALDI’s National Prototype Architect in 2008.

APD works with ALDI’s National Real Estate team to design ALDI’s prototype buildings and study a myriad of building and operational elements. APD continues to lower costs and improve program efficiency through the practical utilization of technology. Together, APD and ALDI apply sustainable design to all prototypes that are constructed across the United States.
For more than 20 years, APD has enjoyed a strong business partnership with ALDI. ALDI’s offerings and facilities continually evolve and we look forward to assisting ALDI become one of the leading grocers in the United States.
