Jack in the Box, Inc.

APD has partnered with Jack in the Box since 2018 and was selected as the brand’s Prototype Architect in 2023, supporting the way Jack in the Box restaurants are designed, refined, and delivered across markets. In this role, we help translate corporate standards into practical, repeatable solutions that support franchisees, operators, and the brand’s continued growth.

Our work includes the MK12 prototype series, with configurations ranging from full dining room models to compact walk-up formats. In Jeffersonville, Indiana, we supported the brand’s first location in the state using the MK12 Walk-Up prototype, coordinating site circulation, kitchen layout, civil infrastructure, permitting, and prototype requirements to create an efficient, drive-thru-focused restaurant designed for speed and operational flexibility.
