Our partnership with ALDI spans three decades, supporting one of the nation’s most recognizable grocery brands through prototype development, rollout execution, new store design, remodels, retrofits, and adaptive reuse projects. Since being named the ALDI National Prototype Architect in 2008, we have worked closely with the ALDI National Real Estate team to help refine prototype buildings, study operational improvements, and support coordinated delivery across markets.

From ground-up stores like Irondequoit, NY and Deerfield Beach, FL to adaptive reuse projects like Pensacola, FL and milestone openings like Portland, ME, APD’s Architecture, Structural, MEP, Civil, Permitting, and LiDAR teams help align prototype standards with real site conditions. Our role is rooted in consistency, responsiveness, and coordination, helping ALDI move projects from concept through construction while maintaining the efficiency and brand standards needed for national growth.
