APD Engineering & Architecture has enjoyed a long term relationship with ALDI dating back to 1996. This relationship started with performing crucial site design and permitting. As part of the development team, APD has provided entitlements, traffic studies, site engineering, survey and planning and zoning representation. APD's emphasis on providing senior level professionals, at cost effective rates, has resulted in over 55 successful projects in New York State and Pennsylvania.
In 2003, APD started expanding their services to ALDI by providing Architectural services. With APD's ability to work in multiple states, ALDI's and APD's relationship grew rapidly. In 2008, APD Engineering & Architecture was named as ALDI's National Architect. APD, utilizing state of the art technology, is not only bringing ALDI into the 3D environment but also providing online program management that is lowering costs and improving project efficiency. APD is working with ALDI to develop LEED certifiable stores, as well as develop numerous new prototypes to consider nationwide development. |

| When the Village of Palmyra, New York was looking to develop a marina on the historic Erie Canal, they turned to APD to provide design, approval and grant support. The Village of Palmyra has long been known as a canal town, but lacked the canal frontage to tie the historic downtown and Canal Street to the existing canal atmosphere and its patrons. The project included a ten boat tie-up area, water front walkway, elevated wood walkway, boat sanitary pump-outs, shower and bathroom facilities, parking benches, lighting and signage. The project required creative wetland mitigation, while maintaining a visible and accessible area that would be an asset to the canal patrons and village residents. A myriad of approvals, coordination and grant support was required from state and federal agencies and authorities, including environmental, parks, historic preservation and the Army Corp of Engineers. |

| APD Engineering was enlisted to provide creative solutions to the complex
development requirements for a 25-acre waterpark on the north shore of
a privately owned lake. APD Engineering provided the planning, design
and construction services for the project located in Canandaigua, New
York. Our services were used to rezone the property and complete the environmental
review process that studied the site design, traffic study and planning
of the project. APD provided the scheduling and construction inspection
to open the project on time in May 2001. |
